With all precincts reporting, Tony Mendoza has edged Mario Guerra for the 32nd district state senate seat.
Measure O, the $248 million Downey school bond measure, was victorious.
Sean Ashton won a seat on the City Council, edging Robert Kiefer, 1,200 to 1,098. Ashton replaces Guerra, who will be termed out next month after eight years on the council.

DEA is pleased to have participated in this year’s Healthy Downey 5K for TLC event on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at Rancho Los Amigos. We had a terrific turnout and helped raise money for the True Lasting Connections center that so greatly helps its Downey residents. Thanks to all who came out to participate and encourage.
